Southern Spirits
The Kennesaw Museum Foundation and the Southern Museum will host Southern Spirits on Friday, July 3, 2026. The event coincides with the city of Kennesaw’s Salute to America. The event will take place both indoors and outdoors from 7 to 9 p.m., and then all guests will head outside to the front lawn for one-of-a-kind views of Kennesaw’s fireworks display until 10 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for museum members and $40 for non-members.
Admission price includes three beverages (beer, wine), food, admission to museum and lawn seating for fireworks display. Chairs are provided, or you may bring your own chair or blanket.
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite or at the museum ticket counter. There will be limited tickets available on the day of the event. Attendees must be at least 21 years old. Parking near the museum and downtown area will be limited. Off site parking at Andrews Arbors business park, 2959 Cherokee St. NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144 is available for Southern Spirits ticket holders on a first come first serve basis.
Southern Spirits tickets include entry to the museum, food, and adult beverages provided by Savannah Distributing. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available at no cost. Atlanta Bonded Warehouse, Republic Services and Savannah Distributing are sponsoring the event. Music will be provided by the Mars Hill Porch Pickers.

Haunted Spirits
The Kennesaw Museum Foundation and the Southern Museum will be hosting, Haunted Spirits on October 23, 2026 from 6:00PM-10:00PM.
Join us for a night full of eerie vibes and spooky surprises at Haunted Spirits. Ghost tales come alive, and the atmosphere is chillingly fun. Sip soft drinks, beer, or a signature spooky cocktail while you experience haunting stories on a tour of the Southern Museum. Food provided by 1885 Grill in Kennesaw, beer and spirits provided by Reformation Brewery, and spooky fun provided by the Southern Museum. Wear a costume, and you could win a prize in our costume contest. Come at 6:00 pm and enjoy the 1938 Hitchcock film “The Lady Vanishes” in our theater. Ghost tours of the Museum are at 8:30 pm and 9:15 pm.
